September 2, 2008 –Join two different sized wires with Waytek's new Step Down Butt Connectors, offered in crimp-solder-seal, crimp & seal, vinyl insulated and non insulated connector types.

Waytek's new Step Down Butt Connectors feature varied inside and outside diameter for joining two different sized wires with a sound mechanical crimp. The connectors have a stripe at each end to indicate the wire size that should be inserted and the die that should be used for crimping. The crimp-solder-seal and crimp & seal connectors have adhesive lined polyolefin tubing to prevent wire corrosion and create a waterproof seal. The vinyl insulated type connector has ultra abrasion resistant heat shrink tubing for durable protection in harsh environments
